About Dead By Sunrise

There's a pretty nice text about Dead By Sunrise on Chester's official site.
Here's an excerpt from it:

Unlike many artists, Bennington has no problems sharing the demons and struggles he’s gone through. “I don’t have a problem with people knowing that I had a drinking problem,” he says. “This is just who I am, this is what I write about, this is what I do. Most of my work has been a reflection of what I’ve gone through in one way or another. My life was falling apart, so I wrote about getting divorced, and diving very hard into alcohol and drugs throughout the process.” Read more

Update: Photos of Epicenter show

I'm still working on our gallery but I finished the site with the screencaps of the Epicenter show finally! The quality is bad, the worst, so I apologize for it.

Here are the screencaps

If you want to help us with the gallery, then all you have to do is sending us photos of events, concerts and promotion as well as any other photos of Dead By Sunrise. Even if the name of your site is on them or your name - it doesn't matter, we would feel honored to have them in our gallery.

Many thanks in advance!

Video: Sonisphere/Tour Announcement

So, and according to Chester at the end of this video, they're planning on going on tour after the release of the album, in Europe and the US.

Interview: Chester talks with LPlive & LPA

There's a very, very nice interview with Chester on LPlive. It's really great!

The interviews of fan sites are always the best.

My favorite:

We’re no longer going to be playing any songs from Hybrid Theory. That’s our gift. L-O-L-J-K-smiley face. (Yes, he literally said that out loud).I don’t think we’ve put any thought into it. I don’t think we’ve realized it’s already been 10 years. We’re focusing on the next record. Wow, Hybrid Theory is 10 years old. Kind of crazy. Makes me feel old.

Thanks, Chester, we're doing our best. ;)
And did anyone notice how much Mike loves to talk about Dead By Sunrise? He seems more eager about it than Chester!

German Julien-K let us know over Twitter that there's another Behind the scenes video of Dead by Sunrise @ Knewbworth 2009.
Thanks for the Info and go over and check out their site... Julien-K Germany, pretty awesome. Thank you guys.

Behind the scenes to "Let down"

Rob & Chester Fansite posted a updated on their site here, so I went over to check it out and now you can see it there too. It's pretty... weird. But nice though, lol

Review: Crawl back in || Epicenter Festival

You recognise this face don’t you? It’s good old Chester Bennington from Linkin Park, and the long-awaited first single from his side project, Dead By Sunrise, has finally been dropped. It’s a good effort too.

The inevitable, lazy comparisons are going to be made with his Linkin Park material, but this definitely has a different sound to it. There are of course some similarities, but given that Chester’s the lead vocalist for both groups, of course there’s going to be some crossover.
However, that’s not necessarily a bad thing at all. Chester’s vocals are awesome in Linkin Park, and similarly so here. This is however, as I said, a different style of rock music. It’s difficult to place who it is they sound like. The closest I can come is maybe Three Days Grace or a less depressing Finger Eleven. It’s a great track though, and definitely one of the better songs I’ve heard from the rock side of things in a while.

Taken from Chester-land, thanks!

Epicenter festival was yesterday, screencaps were taken. Will upload them later, just too damn tired right now. I'm sorry!
